Museum to feature Japanese motorcycles

The California Oil Museum will host the annual summer motorcycle exhibit through Sept. 18 at the museum, 1001 E. Main St., Santa Paula.

The opening reception will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Fri., July 1. Admission is adults $4, seniors $3 and students $1. The reception coincides with Santa Paula’s Cruise Night, which begins at 5 p.m.

This year the museum’s exhibit will feature Kawasaki motorcycles, beginning with a 1969 Blue Streak/H-1/Mach III. The motorcycles, which span the 1970s and range from 500cc to the Kz1000, are from the collection of Daniel Schoenewald of Ventura County.
