Circuit of The Americas™ announced that Southern rock and country icon, Kid Rock will entertain fans with a post-race concert at the Austin360 Amphitheater on Sunday, Nov. 2 of the 2014 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX race weekend.
Fans can also take part in the post-race track invasion, where they have the opportunity to walk in the tire treads of their motorsports heroes.
“The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is one of the largest sports parties in the country, and was named the Sports Event of the Year for 2013 by the SportsBusiness Journal,” Circuit Chief Marketing Officer Dominic Iacono said. “A live performance by a rock icon like Kid Rock will be the perfect end to what will be a sensational weekend of racing and entertainment at this year’s Grand Prix in Austin.”
The live Kid Rock concert will be transmitted onto high-definition video boards throughout the circuit, so fans will have a chance to see both of these elements.
